Tournament Registration

Professionals, Amateurs and Spouse/Companions, hereinafter refereed to as “Participant”, by the act of submitting the entry to play or reserving a team position through deposit in the Puerto Vallarta Pro Am (Tournament), accepts that an integral element of such entry is a promise that Participant will indemnify, defend and hold harmless Vista Vallarta Club de Golf and Marina Vallarta Club de Golf, hereinafter called “Sponsors”, and International Pro Ams, Inc., hereinafter referred to as “Host,” against any and all claims, demands and causes of action of whatever kind or nature arising out of or in any way connected with Participant’s attendance at or participation in the Tournament and related events. It is the specific intent of the parties that such indemnity shall extend to the consequences of the Sponsor or Host’s, joint or concurrent negligence.

It is further understood while participating in the Tournament, Participants may be photographed and agree to allow any photo, video, or film likeness to be used for any legitimate purpose by the Sponsors, Host, and assignees.

The parties specifically agree that any dispute arising hereunder shall be governed by the law of the United States of Mexico, and that jurisdiction and venue for any action hereunder shall be in the District Court of Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico.

Furthermore, the parties specifically agree that they will be bound by the Cancellation Policy as fully described in the Tournament Information section of the tournament’s website and acknowledge that any loss of deposits or entry fees, in part or in whole in accordance with the Cancellation Policy, shall be Participant’s undisputed liability.

Cancellation Policy:

Pre-Registration deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE

All payments are fully refundable through September 1, 2026. The Cancellation Penalty from September 2 – September 15 will be $1000.00.  The Cancellation Penalty from September 16 – September 31 will be 50% of the Team Entry Fee (4 X $3,399.00 X 50% = $6,798.00).  Cancellations after September 31 will be 100% of the Team Entry (4 X $3399.00 = $13596.00).  The Cancellation Policy will be enforced without exceptions.

We suggest you insure you trip. There are many internet-based insurers such as www.insuremytrip.com. Participants recognize that participation in the Tournament is based on one Professional and 4 Amateurs comprising a team (Team). IPA has provided individual registration only as a service to facilitate Team entry. Participants accept that the Cancellation Policy, as defined above, will be enforced on a Team base. By Reserving a Team or Registering for the 2024 Puerto Vallarta Pro Am, each Team and/or Participant agrees to the above stated Cancellation Policy.

Should the 2026 Puerto Vallarta Pro Am be forced to cancel, not modified for Rainout or Inclement Weather,  for general safety concerns or the loss of services required to host the event, before or during the tournament, refunds will be provided to all participants based on the unused portion of the Pro Am.  All refunds will be paid by check less a 5% Administration Fee.

​Rainout or Inclement Weather Policy: Weather patterns for Puerto Vallarta normally does not produce rain in December. Rains are very seasonal beginning in June and ending in mid-October. However, in the event of a rainout, inclement weather or darkness, the Tournament Committee reserves the right to modify the tournament in any manor it deems fitting to provide the most equitable competition. Participants understand and acknowledge that the Tournament Entry Fee is for the event in total whether modified or completed in whole.  If any individual round is cancelled by inclement weather, regardless of date played (Rd. 1-4), the same course rotation round will be cancelled for the professional competition whether played or yet to-be-played.  Results will be calculated on the greatest number of common rounds played. Team competitions will be based on the number of rounds completed within any individual flight.  Detailed information is provided in your Tournament Package upon check-in.

Privacy Policy: We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include your name, Spouse / Companion information, travel dates and / or affiliate membership information with the Pro Am’s hotel partners or tournament transportation.  Your personally identifiable information required to register for The Puerto Vallarta Pro Am is used solely by International Pro Ams Inc to execute your participation in the tournament. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our Cancellation Policy, or protect ours or others' rights, property, or safety.

Terms and Conditions: International Pro Ams Inc is doing everything it reasonably can to protect the safety of its participants and guests, but as we are not dealing with a sterile environment, we cannot guarantee against any health risks.
